Summer Solstice News

We've had our first 115-degree day here in Phoenix. Weather forecasters are cautiously optimistic for a wetter monsoon season. I know I have my fingers and toes crossed that they're right. UPDATE for July 3, 2025: It rained last night, and the coyotes were singing in our backyard after the storm passed! WooHoo!

It's been a super busy spring as I prepare for several exhibitions that will round out my 2025. I'm so grateful for these opportunities to share my work. With all the changes and turmoil I've been feeling lately, having a steady art practice has been a comfort and source of hope. I tried my hand at monotype last month. With all my years working in the printing industry, the smell of ink felt like coming home!
